Notice 13 on Epidemic Prevention and Control of Changzhou in 2022

Changzhou has reported several locally transmitted COVID-19 cases since March 12. To reduce the risk of virus transmission, residents who have been identified as "space-time contacts" of confirmed cases (including asymptomatic carriers) will find their health codes (issued within Jiangsu province) turning yellow.

Yellow health code holders are required to practice a seven-day health observation and take three nucleic acid tests at designated sites on the first, third, and seventh day. If all results are negative, the health code shall turn green automatically. If not, residents can apply for code change at their residing communities with the test certificates.

Residents whose health codes were mistakenly turned yellow can report to their residing communities for verification. The code will turn back to green after an examination by the responsible disease control authority.

Residents holding a yellow health code should proactively register at their residing communities and take nucleic acid tests at designated sites. Please maintain protective measures on the way to the testing site, avoid public transport, and keep a one-meter distance from others.

Residents requesting medical treatment can contact their community staff, who will facilitate their transportation to and from a designated hospital. If acute events such as cardiovascular diseases happen, please call 120 for first aid and report to the community staff as soon as possible.

For those who are in lockdown areas, quarantined at designated places, or isolated at home, their health codes will turn back to green after fulfilling the prescribed health observation and assessment procedure.

Those who failed to apply for a nucleic acid test or refused to take the test and caused the further spread of COVID-19 shall be held legally liable under the laws and regulations of China.
