On December 11, ten locally transmitted cases of Covid-19 (seven in Nanjing and three in Suzhou) were confirmed and registered in Jiangsu province.

Ninety-nine local asymptomatic carriers (12 in Nanjing, 10 in Wuxi, 34 in Suzhou, 23 in Yangzhou, 19 in Zhenjiang, and one in Suqian) were newly reported in the province.

Three inbound symptomless cases were reported in the province.

Forty-four hospitalized Covid-19 patients were discharged, while 685 asymptomatic carriers (680 local and five inbound) were released from medical observation.

Two hundred and nine confirmed cases (204 local and five inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 2,513 asymptomatic carriers (2,502 local and 11 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 7,270 high-risk and 608 low-risk areas.
