Latest update on Covid-19 dynamics in Jiangsu province

On November 27, thirty locally transmitted cases of Covid-19 (six in Nanjing, 11 in Wuxi, one in Xuzhou, five in Lianyungang, two in Yancheng, and five in Suqian) were confirmed and registered in Jiangsu province.

Three hundred and ninety-eight local asymptomatic carriers (39 in Nanjing, 43 in Wuxi, 39 in Xuzhou, 12 in Changzhou, 88 in Suzhou, 16 in Nantong, 22 in Lianyungang, eight in Huaian, 19 in Yancheng, 35 in Yangzhou, five in Zhenjiang, 30 in Taizhou, and 42 in Suqian) were newly reported in the province.

Two inbound confirmed cases and 25 symptomless cases were reported in the province.

Twenty-nine hospitalized Covid-19 patients were discharged, while 102 asymptomatic carriers (96 local and six inbound) were released from medical observation.

Four hundred and forty-one confirmed cases (370 local and 71 inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 2,884 asymptomatic carriers (2,784 local and 100 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 29,287 high-risk and 1,574 low-risk areas.
