Latest update on Covid-19 dynamics in Jiangsu province

On November 20, fifty-six locally transmitted cases of Covid-19 (12 in Nanjing, one in Suzhou, 17 in Lianyungang, 19 in Yancheng, six in Zhenjiang, and one in Taizhou) were confirmed and registered in Jiangsu province.

A hundred and eighty-nine local asymptomatic carriers (ten in Nanjing, four in Wuxi, 12 in Xuzhou, five in Changzhou, 46 in Suzhou, ten in Nantong, 35 in Lianyungang, 15 in Huaian, 14 in Yancheng, eight in Yangzhou, 17 in Zhenjiang, three in Taizhou, and ten in Suqian) were newly reported in the province.

Nine inbound confirmed cases and five symptomless cases were reported in the province.

Five hospitalized Covid-19 patients were discharged, while 22 asymptomatic carriers (15 local and seven inbound) were released from medical observation.

Two hundred and seventy-five confirmed cases (242 local and 33 inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 1,040 asymptomatic carriers (1,011 local and 29 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 13,839 high-risk and 881 low-risk areas.
